Jakob Søndergaard Jensen presents the new CAMM center

Despite the snow storm and the freezing temperatures outside, auditorium 22 was packed full when CAMM center held their opening reception on Friday afternoon where Center Leader, Professor Jakob Søndergaad Jensen presented an outline of the new Center of Acoustic and Mechanical Micro Systems; CAMM center.

There were well-wishers from the industry, DTU Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering represented and the afternoon started with an introduction by Karsten Bo Rasmussen for Widex, Oticon and GN Resound and a technical presentation by Andreas Schousboe for Widex, Oticon and GN Resound. Nille Juul-Sørensen from Danish Design Center gave an entertaining and alternative look into the future of private and public companies and what he believes to be, their necessary collaboration.

While guests toasted the new center with sparkling white wine and almond cakes, Martin Bendsøe – Dean of Graduate Studies & International Affairs and Head of Department Kristian Stubkjær from Electrical Engineering, held heartwarming welcome speeches.
