Cost-effective wind power

Wind power constitutes the largest renewable energy contribution in the contemporary, and the future, Danish power system. Therefore a major share of the future development is anticipated within design and integration of off shore wind farms.

In order to absorb and integrate the increasing share of wind energy, new development is ongoing within new grid compliance, advanced wind turbine control, turbine ability to provide grid service, coordinated control of wind farms, new transmission technology (multi-terminal HVDC), data driven power forecasting, and zoning based on real time weather data.
