Research seminar by Prof. valentin Bertsch

Does increasing the setback distance help increase public acceptance of renewable energy developments and what side-effects should be expected?

Prof. Valentin Bertsch will give a research seminar on the above topic, following by and informal lunch for further discussion. See attached for details of his talk and his CV.

Valentin is a former colleague of mine from KIT in Karlsruhe, Germany, and now Professor of Energy Systems and Energy Economics at the Ruhr-University Bochum. We have had many years of good collaborations on energy system analysis and MCDA applied to energy systems. We will discuss how to strengthen and continue these in the context of his visit.

All are welcome, please forward to your groups if you think relevant. Any questions, please just get back to me.

Best regards
