Minister for Climate, Energy and Buildings, Rasmus Helveg Petersen invites students to contribute with knowledge and creative ideas to support Denmark’s transition to a fossil-free energy system and to maintain Denmark’s strong international position within green energy.

Rasmus Helveg Petersen invites students to write their thesis within three topics: Energy Storage, Smart Energy or Green Transport. Selected students will get a contact person in the Ministry, and the Ministry will contribute with relevant information and knowledge. When the student has completed the thesis, he/she will get the opportunity to present it to the Minister, and it may even be debated in the Danish Parliament if it presents significant perspectives.

On 1 September 2014, the Danish radio program P1 Morgen talked to Rasmus Helveg Petersen and student at DTU Electrical Engineering, Nicolas Weikop about this exciting opportunity. Listen to the program (in Danish) at P1 Morgen.

If you are interested in hearing more about the initiative or how you can use PowerLabDK’s experimental facilities in your thesis about green energy, you are welcome to contact Lea Lohse at Center for Electric Power and Energy.
