Danfoss and Center for Electric Power and Energy have entered into a strategic partnership with international ambitions. The purpose of the partnership is to create innovative research in order to meet the future increased need for efficient and sustainable energy systems
The new partnership involves collaboration between researchers at DTU Electrical Engineering and Danfoss experts on the development of system and network integration of components in the energy system, intelligent distributed energy control and management, demand response and the integration of the energy sources: electricity, gas and heat.
A donation of DKK 10 million will ensure research at Center for Electric Power and Energy in future intelligent components and energy solutions over the next five years. The donation is partly funded by Danfoss and partly by the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation.
Two Danfoss representatives have entered the Center Committee.
