During “Folkemødet“ - The People Meeting at Bornholm, the venue where Danish politicians, interest organizations and citizen meet to debate current political issues, DTU President Anders Bjarklev visited the Hansen-Pedersen family in Allinge - one of the participants in the large EcoGridEU project taking place at the island.
The family is one of 2,000 electricity customers at Bornholm, which are part of the large-scale project demonstration the future intelligent energy system. The family participates in the project with their heat pump, which will react on price signals from a new innovative real-time market place developed by DTU Elektro within the project.

This resulted in large smiles all around.
