The ECCE Europe, organized by the EPE Association took take place from 26 August to the 28 August 2014 at the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) in Lappeenranta, Finland. The conference cover areas like symbolizing the largest European conference in power electronics.
The 16th European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications – the ECCE Europe - was held at the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) in Lappeenranta, Finland. The conference provided a great activity program combining high-profile keynotes by company representatives, plenary presentations, as well as live debates.
The conference was a well-organized high-quality event which was enhanced by the very green and beautiful location – the LUT campus.
With over 600 delegates from around the world, the conference presented me with a great opportunity of meeting like-minded researchers with interests in piezoelectricity similar to mine.
The poster session I presented sparked a long-spanning discussion about topics of piezoelectricity with the interested researchers, which offered me both precious insight in where to look for more information - and contact details of people who were interested in discussing the topic in further detail.
Therefore, I believe the conference was a great kick starter to my publication plan, says Gabriel when back in Copenhagen.
