Sending the Electronics Group to a conference always brings back good news - even if you have to get help from your friends!
During this year’s IEEE-ECCE 2019 Conference & EXPO 29.9.-3.10.2019, Baltimore, MD, USA, a couple of awards were presented - http://www.ieee-ecce.org/2019/ amongst others:
"Active Virtual Ground--Single-Phase Transformerless Grid-Connected Voltage Source Inverter Topology" Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on, vol. 33, no. 2, pp 1335-1346, Feb 2018.
In 2018, 935 papers and letters totaling in 11020 pages of Regular Papers, Letters, and Correspondences were published in the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics.
The selection of the above paper is a high honor and a tribute to the fine research quality, presentation, and potential impact that the research has to the field.
The selection process was rigorous and went through multiple review levels and votes before the paper was selected for an award.
The award was awarded to authors of the paper in the IEEE ECCE 2019 conference in Baltimore, Maryland.
Xu Chen, guest PhD student from the Electronics Group at DTU Electrical Engineering is one of the award recipients - he had applied for a US visa to attend this conference, but unfortunately the visa was not issued in time for him to go to Baltimore, but his co-authors were present: River Tin Ho Li, Member, IEEE, as well as Carl Ngai Man Ho, Senior Member, IEEE, and they received the award on Xu Chen's behalf.
