New unique infrastructure to accelerate development of digital solutions for the Danish energy system

DTU has entered into collaboration on establishing a new digital infrastructure, which will, among other things, facilitate fast, easy and open access to data to be used in the development of the green energy system of the future. The new digital infrastructure is developed in the Digital Energy Lab project, funded by EUDP.

EnergyLab Nordhavn demonstrates first grid integrated battery storage in Denmark

Later this afternoon a large battery connected to the main grid in Nordhavn is officially inaugurated. The battery is part of the EnergyLab Nordhavn project, developing and demonstrating energy solutions of the future. Fully charged the battery holds power to supply 60 households with energy for 24 hours.

Giant battery to power Nordhavn

The DONG Energy grid company Radius has signed an agreement with ABB concerning a giant battery for Nordhavn, one of Copenhagen’s newest residential districts.
