Research in machine elements with special focus on optimization of strength, e.g. in relation to gear design and bolt-plate assemblies. Research in machine construction with special focus on the use of computer simulation of multibody systems including multibody dynamic, and general research in relation to control of structures through optimization of the dynamic characteristics (eigenfrequencies).
