Application and Evaluation Criteria

To apply, please make yourself familiar with the ERIGrid Transnational Access Procedure and Rules and the user project proposal template. You can submit your project proposals to erigrid-ta@list.ait.ac.at.

Starting from September 15 and up to December 15, 2016, the ERIGrid project welcomes applications for its first call for transnational access. Users from research, academia and industry are invited to apply for free access to top European smart grids research laboratories of ERIGrid partners including the PowerLabDK facilities.

Submission Deadline: December 15, 2016

PowerLabDK now offers an invaluable opportunity for those who are looking for sophisticated smart grid infrastructure with top know-how and innovative installations for conducting your own experimental research.

Through the ERIGrid project, of which PowerLabDK and the Technical University of Denmark are partners, it is now possible for successful applicants to gain free access to ERIGrid testing and simulation facilities, backed by concentrated know-how and best practices in the field of smart grid systems and Distributed Energy Resources (DER), for example:

  • Power system components characterisation and evaluation
  • Smart grid ICT / Automation validation
  • Co-simulation
  • Real-time simulation and Power/Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and others.

ERIGrid partners offer a wide range of installations and invaluable competences to assist successful applicants with conducting experiments. Such a common framework of applied smart grid expertise will accelerate the development of an integrated pan-European research infrastructure,” says Thomas Strasser of AIT, Coordinator of ERIGrid.
