Best teacher of the semester announced at Department meeting in December.
At a Department meeting on 10 December 2019 it was announced by our Deputy Head of Department Michael A.E. Andersen that the best teacher of the Spring 2019 and June/July/August 2019 semester at DTU Electrical Engineering is:
Associate Professor Jalal Kazempour, from our Center for Electric Power and Energy, for the BSc course 31710 General electrical engineering (Almen elektroteknik).
The best teacher nominations are based upon the student evaluations received and examined by the Department's Board of Studies and Management.
The general electrical engineering course aims at providing the students with a basic knowledge within electrical engineering as relevant for students following the specialisation 'future energy'. The competences given are covering a broad range within selected topics as suitable for a non-electric competence profile within energy.
The course and its teacher received excellent student evaluations.

At the meeting Jalal received a best teacher diploma together with a box of Peter Beier chocolates. He also received a big round of applause from the audience.
