Energy and Research Polical Conference

Thursday, May 11, 2017, at. 9:00 to 13:00

Are the Danish energy research and energy technology exports at a crossroad? And what are the political priorities?

Denmark holds a tradition of taking a leading position in renewable energy, energy research investments, and energy technology exports. Current development suggests that this leadership is challenged.
How will the government and the Danish Parliament prioritize energy and research policy in the future? And where stands the Industry on this topic? Is it at all realistic for Denmark to become a fossil free society in 2050?

The Energy, Supply and Climate Minister as well as politicians from different parties in the Danish Parliament, along with representatives from business and energy research, and a green think tank will debate this topic at DTU's Energy and Research Policy Conference 2017.
