Professor Pierre Pinson from DTU Elektro is on the Highly Cited Researchers 2019 list. 

A brand report from Clarivate Analytics places Professor Pierre Pinson, Center for Electric Power and Energy, Department of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark on the list of most cited researchers in the world.

The Highly Cited Researchers 2019 list is recognizing the world's most influential researchers of the past decade, demonstrated by the production of multiple highly-cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in Web of Science.

With approximately 6.000.000 researchers in the world and 6008 researchers on the 2019 "Most Cited Researchers"-list, Professor Pierre Pinson is among top 0,1 % of the most influential researchers in the world.

Professor Pierre Pinson is heading a research group focusing on Energy Analytics & Markets. His work is mainly related to the application of mathematical modeling and decision-making methods to the energy sector. The primary focus of his research is on easing the large scale integration of renewable energies into power systems and electricity markets, based on stochastic process modeling, forecasting, optimization and decision-making under uncertainty.   

When asked what it means to him to be acknowledged in the Cross Field category, Professor Pierre Pinson says:
