Centre for Acoustic-Mechanical Micro Systems (CAMM) appoints Associate Professor Niels Aage.

Niels Aages research interests are mostly related to large scale modelling, fast solvers, and optimal design (topology and shape) for coupled multiphysics problems on multiple length scales. His interests also lie in making his knowledge available to the general public and industry through open source codes and educational apps.

On his new position at CAMM, Niels says that "First of all, it is very exciting to be part of CAMM and I can't wait to start working with my new colleagues. With that said, I am looking forward to advancing my research on numerical and experimental methods for linear/non-linear wave propagation, coupled structural-acoustic analysis and optimal design.

"I expect that CAMM, through its three major sponsors, will ensure that the path from research to industry becomes much shorter."
Associate Professor Niels Aage

I expect that CAMM, through its three major sponsors, will ensure that the path from research to industry becomes much shorter, and that the interdisciplinary skills of the CAMM team-members will provide an exciting and vibrant working environment".

CAMM welcomes Niels Aage
