Once again, PowerLabDK offers free access to our world leading facilities and innovative installations. Starting from 15 August and until 15 November, we invite you to apply for the ERIGrid Transnational Access.
Submission Deadline: 15 November, 2017
Users from research, academia and industry are invited to apply for free access to the top European smart grid research laboratories of ERIGrid partners - including the PowerLabDK facilities.
PowerLabDK now offers an invaluable opportunity for those who are looking for sophisticated smart grid infrastructure with top know-how and innovative installations for conducting your own experimental research.
Through the ERIGrid project, of which PowerLabDK and the Technical University of Denmark are partners, it is now possible for successful applicants to gain free access to ERIGrid testing and simulation facilities, backed by concentrated know-how and best practices in the field of smart grid systems and Distributed Energy Resources (DER), for example:
- Power system components characterisation and evaluation
- Smart grid ICT / Automation validation
- Co-simulation
- Real-time simulation and Power/Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and others.
“ERIGrid partners offer a wide range of installations and invaluable competences to assist successful applicants with conducting experiments. Such a common framework of applied smart grid expertise will accelerate the development of an integrated pan-European research infrastructure,” says Thomas Strasser of AIT, Coordinator of ERIGrid.
For the last 8 access periods PowerLabDK has been the most requested facility of the ERIGrid transnational access applications. In particular, our SYSLAB facility with a small scale distributed energy system is popular among applicants.
