Our research addresses the fundamental understanding of power components with novel digital properties, connectivity and increased security awareness and reliability. In addition, we cover applications for renewable energy sources, energy storage and conversion, and prosumers. The research addresses challenges on numerous time scales, that is, from transients in microseconds to dynamics and market services in hours and days.
